Peace of Mind

Are you just getting started with homeschooling, or in a new season, and have lots of questions? Getting started can bring up a lot of questions, especially regarding: Where do I get started? Am I doing enough? What’s expected? Is this (whatever it is) ok?

There’s a lot of pieces when you’re first getting started – but don’t worry, it absolutely gets easier!

Schedule a one-on-one Zoom chat with me to gain some clarity on next steps, and ask questions from someone who’s been there, is in the trenches now, and can give you some peace of mind and reassurance about your homeschooling journey.

How I can help you I love coming alongside families and helping you navigate homeschooling. Taking the full responsibility of your child’s education is a huge task – and you can do this! I can help you plan curriculum, set reasonable expectations, design your own learning group with other families, manage multiple children at different levels, find classes and supplementation, and write a high school transcript!

Whether you are a scheduled rule-follower who needs the teacher guides for every topic, or an unschooler, or really not sure where you’re at, I can take your background and goals for your child, as well as your child’s personality and learning style, and help you come up with a plan!

Not ready for a consultation? Take a class!

I also offer classes for parents on basic homeschooling principles to help you get started. This class is general information, and all are welcome! I often will host these classes on zoom, but also schedule times to meet with several families at once at a coffee shop if there is enough interest.

Class topics include: homeschooling pre-school, beginning homeschooling (K-8th), homeschooling high school, how to teach reading (Pre-K to 2nd), and mini teaching school for parents

Keep an eye out for homeschool parent classes or contact me to set up a time!

How Consultations Work

  1. Message me and we will set up a zoom conference time, and I’ll send you out a zoom link. In the mean time, you will email me list of questions (or an entire essay if you’ve got a lot of questions!).
  2. Then, I’ll email you back with a bulleted list of what I think you would most benefit prioritizing during our conversation so you get the most benefit. If there’s something else you’d like to prioritize, you can use shoot me a response!
  3. We’ll use these bullet points as our guideline to structure our conversation so you can get the most out of our conversation. But this time is yours to ask all of your homeschool questions!
  4. After our conversation, I’ll email you a summary and any links or resources that we discussed (that way you can focus on our conversation, and don’t have to take notes!).

“Outstanding service and a reasonable price.”

— Happy Customer

Can’t I just ask my friend for help?

Absolutely! I encourage families to use their resources and ask friends and family to get input. There are lots of people who can give you advice, and lots of different ways to homeschool. There are so many resources out there, and ways to shape your child’s education to work with your family.

What I do is take YOUR concerns, and where YOUR FAMILY is at, and I help you see how to make homeschooling work for you.

I can help walk you through the various aspects of homeschooling and set goals based off of your child, your family, and your preferences.
